• The Sponsored Youth Programme of the Kiwanis Club of Spanish was conceived in November 1977 when Sister Paschal, the Principal of St. Catherine High accepted the Club's proposal that that a need exists for a service club to be chartered at St. Catherine High School. This was followed in January 1978 when Mr. Victor Edwards, the Principal of St. Jago High School also consented to establish a Key Club there. Since then the Kiwanis Club of Spanish Town took on the Herculean task of sponsoring a total of ten K–Family clubs. These include the following.

 

• Circle K

       G.C.Foster College

 

• Key Clubs

       Old Harbour high, St. Jago High, St. Catherine High

 

• Builders Clubs

      St. John’s Primary,  Friendship Primary
